Our construction auditing services are customized to your specific needs and current status of the capital project life cycle, Pre-Award, Contract Compliance/Administration, and Close-out including:

 

 

Public Sector/Quasi-Governmental Contracting Compliance, Auditing & Training 

Vast experience in contracting and auditing within the public sector and other quasi-governmental organizations

 

  • Expertise in interpretation and application of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and agency supplemental agency regulations.

  • Training and review experience of public sector required subcontracting plans

  • Experience with verifying the provisions of the Davis-Bacon & Related Act Regulations (DBRA), validating that contractors pay their workers minimum hourly pay rates and fringes, by work classifications, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor (Wage Determination).

  • Developing and delivering training sessions in FAR compliance, covering: Framework of Government Contracting (FAR); Standards unique to Government Contracting; Cost & Pricing Requirements; and Subcontract Management.

Owner Representation

Provide Owner representation for large construction projects. This includes protecting the interests of the Owner to facilitate project completion within budget and schedule as well as providing direction to contractors, architects, vendors, etc. on the behalf of the Owner. 

Forensic Auditing

Certified Fraud Examiners, Certified Public Accountants and Auditors are on staff with extensive forensic auditing & accounting, as well as fraud/embezzlement investigation experience.

Training

Develop and conduct customized training programs for individuals and groups on the topics of construction auditing, construction project controls, contract preparation, Owner Representation, forensic auditing/accounting, and government contracting.

 

This knowledge transfer/”Train the Trainer” may be performed in a classroom setting, on-the-job training or a combination of both.
